Bruck Castle
Museum with added value
Schloss Bruck (Bruck Castle) is a museum in the city of Lienz that houses many paintings from Albin Egger-Lienz, a painter from Lienz. The surroundings of the castle with a picturesque grove and small pond near the gateway is a popular area for walkers, and it is the starting point of many hiking paths. The castle is open from mid-May to the end of October. In 2007, the museum received the Tiroler Museumspreis (Tyrolean museum award). The 37 meter high castle keep can be climbed as part of a museum visit. On the top level of the tower is a viewing gallery that offers a great view of Lienz and the surrounding mountains.

The building functions as both a shop and showroom, in which the history of the Deferegger healing water is exhibited. In addition, it serves as a filling station that bottles the water directly at the well thus preserving its naturalness and healing powers. The integrated stalactite cave is also a special experience for visitors allowing them a glimpse into the processes in the earth's interior. The valuable water can be purchased directly at its source. The building in combination with the fountain at the well site is a true water experience and place of power that you can enjoy from different perspectives.

Thanks to the double track system and built-in speed control, absolutely nothing can happen. You can determine how fast you actually want to go with the handbrake lever.
